December 5, 2022: Dr. Glasscock chaired the SUDEP special interest group session at the American Epilepsy Society annual meeting in Nashville, TN. The session was titled “Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) Through the Lens of Non-traditional Semiologies, Genes, and Models.”
June 27, 2022: PhD student Kelsey Paulhus
was one of only six students nationwide to be awarded a Predoctoral
Research Fellowship from the American Epilepsy Society for her project
entitled "Cortico-limbic contribution to cardiorespiratory dysfunction
and SUDEP risk." The award provides $30,000 for stipend and travel support for the year.
March 30, 2022: PhD student Kelsey Paulhus won best biology poster at SMU's annual Research & Innovation Week Research Symposium.
